DADDY!!!

Oh Happy Day!
Here we are waiting to see Dad after 7 long months. We were so excited! The wait wasn't that long, before we knew it they were tiny dots off in the distance.
Uncle Jeff took some time off work to come out for the homecoming too. He was a huge help for me so that I wasn't chasing after two very excited little girls by myself.

Yay, it's Daddy! Paige ran right up to him and jumped in his arms, Mike practically squeezed the guts out of her. Izzy was with Jeff but was leaning out of his arms to get to Dad, she just couldn't wait to get a hug from Dad too. It was a great day! We are so happy to have him home safe. Thank you everyone that have kept us in your prayers during this deployment we greatly appreciate all of your love and support.

March Visitors

At the beginning of March we had a few visitors. First my Mom came out to help me out with getting things ready for Mike's homecoming. She was such a big help, THANK YOU! I was even able to sneek away one day for a spa day, awesome! During her visit we had a visit from Uncle Tom, Auntie Val and Pat. This is their first visit out here and we definitely enjoyed having them. They also got to meet Izzy for the first time.

We took them to the beach, soccer and a few other fun things. Paige really enjoyed having everyone read to her. Thank you everyone for you visit, we definitely enjoyed seeing all of you.

Happy Feet

Paige and Izzy had a little dance party with Grammie Debbie in Paige room. I really wish that you could see Paige's feet because she was doing a little River Dancing with her feet. They enjoyed their time with their Grammie. More pictures from my Mom's trip to come.

Princess Party

On Valentine's Day the girls went to a Prince and Princess Party. They had so much fun. It was really hard to keep up with both of them but it was sure fun to watch. They had an open gym to do what ever they wanted to do, plus games and treats. It was a very good afternoon. This is the best picture of the two of them in their matching dresses. Hey, I am a big cheese

Snow Day in Jacksonville?!

Well today started out with me driving Paige across town to school just to find out that it had been cancelled due to weather. The funny thing to me was that there was no weather. As we were driving home it started to snow but it was melting. I'm thinking to myself that this is pretty funny that they cancelled everything for this, Flurries!

This what it looked like at 1030. You can just barely see snow on the windshield.

This is around 230, I took this because the snow had stopped and started to melt. I think that I was wrong about the snow.
The girls running to go play, they were so excited!

This is at 430. I guess you really can't tell how much snow is out there but it is probably a little over an inch. Our entire yard is covered in snow, everything is beautiful and white. The girls loved playing in it. Izzy was running around giggling most of the time and Paige was just running around. She wanted to have a snowball fight but it was getting late and cold. We don't have the proper gear to be playing in the snow. The girls had on multiple layer and still were wet when we came in the house. Here is a video of Paige making a snow angel that she waited all day for. Enjoy!

Grandparents and Grandkids

My parents scheduled a photo shoot with the grandkids and here is one of the pictures. The day was freezing, we had to take a break to go sit in the cars to warm back up. This picture was one of the last one before I said that Izzy was done. Paige kept giving the I am freezing face and this is probably what that face is in this picture. It was a great place for picture but maybe next time it needs to be done on a much warmer day! Freezing or not it is still cute.

Jump-o-lene

Well for Christmas Grammie Bonnie and Grandpa Ron got the girls this Jump-o-lene which they hate as you can tell. It is great the perfect size for the 2 of them to play in together. Izzy does jump in it she just would jump for pictures, she's no jumping monkey but as you can tell Paige will for the camera.
Izzy likes to sit and watch her big sister get silly and will run around in it more so than jump. We thought that this would be a good alternative to a trampoline. Plus, I can put it away and they can play with it inside and out. The big bonus is we don't have to figure out what to do with it during hurricanes and windstorms.
With both girls in gymnastics this is a great toy for them. Thank you, Grammie an Grandpa Ron we love it. Maybe I will get some video of both of them jumping.
